SweptUnder Productions had the incredible opportunity to take part in NSDF 2024 with our play, The Ladies of Juliana. We were able to perform our show to other young creatives from across the country, and to the companies and people who organised the festival. It was amazing to be able to watch the shows that emerging artists had created, and to be a part of new script readings from talented young writers. We had the opportunity to take part in workshops from a variety of writers, directors, technicians and more, which has given us valuable information in how we move forward with our company and future projects! Through the week, the company had the experience to work with Barrel Organ Theatre and create a new devised piece of theatre with the other attendees of NSDF. SweptUnder are so grateful for all the positive feedback on the play and advice for the future of the company, and to have taken part in NSDF.
We were so grateful to have the opportunity to perform at The ShowRoom in Chichester on the 29th of May at 6PM. It was so amazing to be back where it all started.
We performed at Salisbury Studio Theatre from the 29th to the 31st of August We had such an amazing time, thank you to everyone who gave us such the warmest welcome. To find our reviews for our time in Salisbury please head to The Ladies of Juliana page.
Our next adventure takes us back to where it all started, back to where the show was made. Come watch us tell our story once again! October 3rd at 7:30pm in The ShowRoom Chichester. Tickets linked below.
We are performing on The Golden Hinde London Bridge on the 20th-21st of November 6:30pm and 8:00pm. The Golden Hinde provides the perfect setting for an impressive theatre experience, allowing audiences to journey alongside the characters. The confined, dimly-lit space would highlight the harsh, claustrophobic conditions these women faced, transporting audiences directly into the world of the play, as though they too, are confined aboard The Lady Juliana.
